NdFeB is divided into sintered NdFeB and bonded NdFeB. Bonded NdFeB has magnetism in all directions and is corrosion resistant. Magnet manufacturers take everyone to understand the surface treatment skills of neodymium iron boron magnets.
The surface treatment skills of neodymium iron boron magnets are as follows:
1. Degreasing of neodymium iron boron magnets: alkaline degreasing agents, emulsifiers, and organic degreasing are very corrosive to neodymium iron boron. After degreasing and washing, it is easy to rust and form a yellow rust film;
2. NdFeB magnet passivation: The production process of NdFeB is different from stainless steel, which is formed by smelting. The first is powder bonding and sintering. The intergranular structure of neodymium, iron and boron is not dense, and it is strongly oxidizing and acidic. The chemical solution will only increase corrosion; the alkaline passivation solution is used for iron-based products (including stainless steel passivation, the effect is relatively general), and the general alkaline passivation solution used for NdFeB is still a temporary anti-rust effect. The effect may be better after closing treatment. Alkaline passivation treatment must be degreasing, water washing, acid washing, water washing, passivation, water washing, etc. One step is necessary, plus closing, or even cleaning with alcohol, the working hours and cost are relative Larger; phosphating is used for the surface treatment of NdFeB, which can only provide temporary anti-rust effect, and the process is cumbersome;
3. Sealing treatment of NdFeB magnet: NdFeB sealing is mainly used for pretreatment of electroplating or electroless plating. If bubbles appear after painting, they also need to be sealed.
